Heater Control Panel Bulb

Almost had 3 weeks without touching the car but the bulb for the heater control panel appears to have blown. The haynes manual isn't much help here, it says to take out the radio and most of the switches but I'm wondering if it's really necessary.

Does anyone know a sneaky way to change it without removing all sorts of stuff?

If I remember rightly, all you have to do is pull the heater control panel controls off, then the facing and the bulb is located in a holder at the rear of the facing. I can't remember if its a plug in bulb or a whole new holder and bulb.

There was a post about this last week… do a search on BULBS, there was a list of part numbers as well.  :wink:
