Gti clocks into a 1.1?

Will there be any major problems with this?
 I know that I will need a feed for the rev counter, but are the plugs the same?

The revcounter feed should already be there. It was on my Formel E. I just fitted the clocks and everything worked. If you look at your coil and it has 2 spade connectors on one of the terminals on opposite sides of the terminal, going into a connector block with 2 wires coming out, then one of those is the rev feed.
