Ultra Rare Genuine VW Sump Guard / Skid Plate

I have a rare genuine VW sump guard/skid plate. The part number for this is 357 018 905A. These were originally sold for big block Mk1 and Mk2 Golfs. I bought it years ago to fit my Mk2 Caddy TDI van but never got round to it. Should fit others like Passat too. I may have got the bolts a washers to go with this if i can find these, these are new and never used.  I assume but can't guarantee this will fit 1.6-2.0 litre 8 or 16 valve only and is mounted to the engine, i believe this item may be obsolete. I bought it off the guy but haven't used it because I wanted it for my mk2 syncro but it fouls the power steering pump and seems a shame to cut it up to make it fit so I haven't used it. I paid the £150 for it but I think it needs a couple of spacers making to get it to fit to the block. Nothing major though…..if you want it?

Makes it a bargain, especially as most parts on the classic site are very limited stock, so will soon be very hard to find once more….
