Genuine Front Panel For Sale (Never Used)

Hi, I have a genuine front panel for the Mk1 Golf for sale. I have owned this panel for pretty much 15 years now and it has been sitting in my attic since the day I bought it.
There are some very small areas where some spots of rust have appeared. (Details in the Photos).
 Initially it was for the restoration of my GTi but I now have a young family and plans for this project have stopped in the last few years.







I also have a mint condition bonnet that has been painted in 2 pack grey primer about 10 years ago and it has been hanging in my shed ever since, gathering dust (and possibly a bit of mould too - I'll have to check that later in the week).

I have a bunch of other things for the Mk1 Golf including a centre console with all original gauges and a couple of sets of black carpets etc…

It will be possible to post all of these items but it will take a bit of time to source packaging and figure out the best way to do so.

I am open to offers and I will try and get back to you as soon as I possibly can.

what would you want for it? there was one at beaulieu a few weeks back, i should have brought that.

The one i saw was £175 genuine mk1 with the small tow eye.

Yeah, you should have bought it mate! These go for a lot more than that my friend. Unlucky I'd have bought that panel the second I saw it! (Regardless of wether I needed it or not!)

Oh!! I completely forgot!
I have a genuine towing rear bumper. The plastics aren't perfect but it's solid and perfectly useable. I might make another thread for this…

Yeah, I was going to start a new thread on each item but just wanted to get the word out on the front panel first. Thanks for the heads up.
 I suppose all I need to say is I'm not going to accept £175 for this panel. The panel cost me £120 + fuel to Luton (£40) 15 years ago!
 Another thing I need to say is I have personally met someone in the Mk1 Golf world who paid over £800 for a genuine front panel (but the guy was loaded & didn't care! Lol!) (I'm not asking £800 but somewhere in between both of those prices would satisfy me. So if an ono is needed for rules sake, then,…£800 ono? (Lol!)  (Sorry if this offends anyone who doesn't have enough money btw)

Hi mate are the carpets the thick pile gti type? If so what condition are they in and how much would you be asking for the best one?
