Just in case anyone wants a heads-up. It's with a VERY heavy heart that, in the next couple of weeks, here and on ebay, my much-loved 1982 Golf C 1.6 5 speed diesel 5 door tintop will be for sale. Boo hoo! My circumstances have changed (had a baby etc) and for various reasons I just can't justify keeping her. It will have fresh MOT, 6m tax, ready to use and reliable (as a daily if needed). It will need some bodywork attention in the long term but don't they all - well nearly all! Still looks good and a rare model that hasn't had original engine ripped out. This is a good one, 3 lady owners, not been a workhorse. I've driven a bad one before this one and you can notice the difference (but even the bad one looked after me for long enough!). Now I must go and weep into a pillow…
