Funny thing occurred while I was driving yesterday.

I was running to the Store yesterday, dropping off shoes to be re-soled, picking up Coke-a-cola as my wife is a Coke Addict,  and it was a beautiful day topless music up…
When in my rear view mirror I saw a RV (motor caravan) flashing their lights and speeding up.
Ok, must have a emergency, and the Hospital was about 4 blocks up so I pulled in the next lane to free up the one I was in….stopping for a light.

While I was waiting for the light to change they pulled up next to me, and the Driver rolled down the window, and was yelling…. So I turned my radio down, and in a thick Heavy German Accented English (reminded me of my Grandfather)…He said that he and his wife were on Holiday driving across America RVing, and that He loved my car, and it was the first one he had seen in his drive across the country.  He said it was the best car VW ever made…. I said thank you.. but if he sees a Green one with a white top, that was my other one….
He smiled, gave me a thumbs up…. We chatted a bit more on how cheap they are to maintain, and I said well getting it back to OEM wasn't that cheap but Maintaining it was.  When I told him that I drove a 81 Diesel off the showroom floor for 20 years then sold it with 330K he was like WHY…. We waved, I sped off and went about my other business which was getting a hair cut…. which reminds me why call it a hair cut, when it is hairs that they are cutting off shouldn't it be a hairs cut?  Why do they call it a pair of pants, when it is a single item?  I just get so confuzzeled sometimes.
