Since I already gave it a new interior, and a new Canvas hoodie.  I suppose that I will have to give it the gift of Premium 130 Octane gas, or a can of Pinto bean's.

I can fondly remember when I gave my Rover the Gift of 130 octane AvGas… and was richly rewarded with a car that ran like a ostrich.
couldn't speed cheater, cheatah cheetah…..

Ran Fantastical.  So did my Toyota on 130 AvGas…..zippity doo dah, and got great mileage.

..Your Rover actually was an ostrich-and you didn't know no wonder it died…

'Scrat' will get a new battery but as he's off to the garage on Sunday for his winter sleep I'll keep it for him and he can unwrap it next spring.  




As for my Christmas present from Santa I got one of these.





A second Field Spaniel called Genesis, so much better than a Christmas tree!

Got it a crazy quiff rear 3 point seatbelt kit to be in by the spring and a DA polisher which should keep me busy! 

Was thinking about a cover at some point to stop it getting so cold.

I'm going be doing same fitting 3 point belts in rear  over the winter

My son and his BMW keep on getting my bank account involved in such projects but they all seem to loose the word "cheap"!    

Well as my Mk1 is hibernating time for a little Christmas 🎄 pressy for the Mk6.

So I'm sat in a petrol station in Vienna having a quick beer 🍻 waiting for the jet wash to come available so I can wash him.

But by doing this difficult task I avoid doing the veg for Christmas lunch.  😉

Not only that but it's raining here, my wife is walking the dogs and she still hasn't cottened onto the fact I'm washing the car!  🤔

I had planned to use the excuse that now the Mk6 has been washed I'll go and hoover out the interior and freshen it up a little. 👍

But I did that on Wednesday so I know she's not going to fall for that again. 🤔

So I'm doing the spuds right now and I've still all the rest to do.

Personnally I think he only got a grill and one side of it, it's a bit like a kit car    He gets the rest next year if he's been a good boy and done all the veg prep like Mike golf Cabrio
