Hella Fuel Cap MK1 Golf

Hello,

Does anyone have a Brand New Original Hella MK1 Fuel cap with the key?

I am happy to pay £150-200 for it if you do have  lying about.

Year and Model go a long way to getting the correct cap.

Over here on this side of the pond, I know of 3 different types of caps over the years.  and 2 different styles.

One with a hinged spring lid over the lock assembly, one with out and just a lock in the middle.

There length of he locking arms are different between the years, so knowing the model and year are paramount to getting the proper cap.

Does anyone know if originally they were made by Hella or Blau?

Every locking cap I bought was either straight from the dealer or blau.

IIRC The ones for my cabbies I bought from the web about 20 years ago, were both blau. And only about 25 bucks.
