My wiring is shot to bits been cut so many times I guess over the years. The wiring looks like it's dropped behind glovebox. Where would the nearest plug connection be if there one? Or would it be a case of dashboard out and extend wires
Thanks

The wires run to the A pillar by the door hinges.
You could pull new one through from there. On my 1984 cabby there was a Co nesting block on right hand side which attached to the rear speakers.
Hope that helps?

Seems a lot of work to run a few wires!
Twist the new wires onto the old ones, pull them through and loop them over the glovebox or round the back of the footwell and up to the radio.
If you take the dash out it may squeak after you put it back in and drive you mad!!! 😉

You run the wires on the left side of the car under the carpet, then across from the left to the right under the carpet under the seat back.
For the doors you reove the rubber boot off the door and apillar then run a couple of nylon strings through one side of the boot to the other (door side.
Take the wire on the "a"pillar side and runt it with a fishing wire in to the Cabin and out the side of the knee bar.
From there you then run them up to the rear of your head unit. do each side and leave enough slack to wire tie it to various wire bundles out of your way.
Use a brown or black wire for the ground sides of the speaker, and separate colors for positive side of the speakers, or make sure that you label them for the side and position the came from ie: Right side door…If oyu use speaker wire then verify that you use the silver for the Positive side and the copper side for the ground.
