Sold my Golf

Due to change in circumstances I have sold my Golf, it happened very quickly, I mentioned to a good friend I was thinking of selling the Golf and that evening he turned up with a cash buyer. The price was fair, I made a loss but I bought off a dealer and wasn’t in it for profit. It had taken me 3.5yrs to find the right car, I enjoyed driving it and improving it over 2yrs, but, a first grandchild arrived at the same time as lockdown. We live 100 miles away so holiday static was purchased to placate SWMBO as I wasn’t moving from my new garage, I now need a larger 4 dr classic with a big boot. I hope to still see you guys at shows in the future, cheers, John.

I'm sure you were trying to sell it when I bought some wheels off you - that was sometime last year I think. Bet you've still got the Escort though haven't you?!

Easy come (sort of) easy go. I’m sure you will miss It when the sun shines however I am also sure that little escort will keep you entertained.

If you come to a show you can happily sit in mine for that’ll golf feeling.

Escort's a keeper, I was thinking of selling the Golf last year, but decided against it, sort of had my hand forced this year!😂
