Show plates

Afternoon all

I'm looking to buy some black and silver pressed metal show plates for my 83 mk1.  I know they're not road legal but I'm not planning on driving it on public roads with the show plates on.  

Does anyone know of or could recommend a place to buy said plates?

eBay! Cheap as chips and very good quality.

You can also buy your main plates there! It's not illegal to buy them from someone without the licence , it's just illegal to make them without the licence - so you won't be breaking any laws buying them yourself 👍

I get mine from a site called show plates. About £20.

Never been stopped or questioned. It is 40 next year anyway so can legalise the fitment then also. Also no road tax to pay anymore woohoo

Thanks for the replies.  There's a few sites with the name show plates some with A1 in front of it and others.  You could send me the link to the one you used?
