Sportline
As per the title, her indoors is at me again about my Sportline. In fairness I've hardly used it since I last thought about selling it so I guess she has a valid point (not that I will let her know that)
My question is what do you think it's worth and where would you put it up for sale if it was yours? There's a couple currently on classic car
Old post with details full car details

Since then it's had
New Windscreen
New water pump
New thermostat
New master cylinder and brake lines
New pads
Recently serviced
Now with MOT
Overall very good condition but needs someone to put a little more time into it
It's still on 102K
It runs like a sewing machine and pulls like a train
Bad bits
The paint isn't great - it looks fabulous from 10 ft away though
There's a little bubbling starting around drivers side roof line
When it was moved for the MOT on a low loader the guy cracked the front splitter - will need plastic welding You can see this in a couple of the images
Few images from this month

Sportline Decals in wrong place
Grill badge wrong
Interior wrong
Speedo wrong
Gear knob wrong
Alloys wrong
Headlights wrong
Spotlights wrong
If it is actually a sportline you’d be better off putting it back to original
Only my opinion of course

It's definitely a Sportline - correct chasis number and registered on V5
I agree that it's not standard, but this is how I bought it. I addressed some of your concerns on my original post, but to answer your concerns
Sportline Decals in wrong place - It had paint before I bought it and they put the decals in the wrong place?Grill badge wrong - I'd actually never noticed that :)Interior wrong - Interior is correct, it's the standard recaros retrimmed in leatherSpeedo wrong - was replaced by VW (in it's history) there was a dash fault and this is what they did - under warranty too?Gear knob wrong - correct, was replaced when seats retrimmedAlloys wrong - It had 17" Alloys on when I bought it as it had 4 pot Wilwood front calipers - they looked awfulHeadlights wrong - Agreed, was fitted when I bought itSpotlights wrong - Agreed, was fitted when I bought it

Most things would be really easy, seats and gear knob would be challenging though.
I’ve got 2 sportlines myself

No radiator card.
Radiator card.
Then acquire or make a Debris Guard for the upper hood vents, it keeps leaves and other things from getting in to the rain tray or Scuttle as y'all call it.

Putting it back to standard, if I was looking at keeping it then that is probably what I would do (as far as possible) it's had engine and upgrade works completed by TSR performance (Donington package plus a few bits) so it's far from standard anyhow.
The seats have never bothered me as they were done really well (Almost £4K) I was thinking of sorting the clocks but as it's part of it's history so I decided to leave them be. I do however think that sorting the decals and wheels out would be beneficial at this point. I've just lost a little time and inclination so it's been left.
@Briano - is that post for me?
Obviously as per the original post I'm mainly looking for advice around what people think it is worth and where to look at marketing it - personally I'd like to keep it but I'm getting ear-ache

Vw grill Badge in black and remove the splitter and your sorted externally
Having both colours was sort of an accident, had red first and was looking for a 205 gti when the black one came up
Red and black seems to be my theme, got these also
