New car Photo

Just spent the afternoon at the VW dealer and ordered a new Golf GTi with Performance pack in carbon grey with a few other extras. Just have to wait 16 weeks now due to the extras as the VW factory has gone on Holiday for a month.

I got a great deal using Carwow prior to going to the dealer, however the dealer did give me a good price on my trade in, just checked on We buy any car they couldn't match the price so well happy.

That's going to be the longest 16 weeks of your life but worth it.  

I bought a new 3-door GT diesel in 2009 - loved every minute of it and regret changing it for another make when it reached its 4th year.

Next March  I'm back hopefully to a new GTI or GTD, maybe even as the Americans put it a 'previously enjoyed' demonstrator R.

Yeah the GT been great was going to replace it with the new GTD, however after talking to people/ dealer, i don't do the mileage which everyone has state 15000 plus a year.

I've gone for the 6 speed manual box.

Nice buy, I really like the new GTI - looking forward to seeing pics in 16 weeks then!

Yes I did ask about it however they no longer do the package and you still have to pay the delivery.

Update………… I've been following the Build from the day the Order being processing at VW, With the Factory Build week confirmed, Build in progress, In transit, arrived in UK to Vehicle delivered to the dealers via VW tracker..

The last part was showing as from Friday however the Dealer hasn't been contact. I'll give it until the weekend then start asking questions. The Golf has arrived early and I won't taking Delivery until after 1st September 2014. I'll be daft to take it now with a plate change so close.  

Nice, so close now.
