Hey everyone,

As our show is looming we thought it was a good opportunity to reach out to you, to give a bit of info about the things we’re thinking about for the coming year.

As you may know the club is run by a group of people that we like to call ‘The Committee’, which really just means a group of people that love their cars and the club so much they can’t help themselves but get involved. This can be as small as putting on a stand at your local classic car show or as large as taking the club to multiple events across the year.

Over the last year or so we have been working behind the scenes to give the club a more modern look and feel, through the website redesign, and growing our presence within social media. But it’s not all about how we look, it’s also about how we act and are seen as a club.

So as we want to continue moving forward, we’re looking for active members to join us, to bring on board their insights, as we know it’s important for a club to be driven by the wants and needs of its members.

We always open this discussion up on the Saturday at our annual meeting, so if you think you can bring something to the club and want to get hands-on, please come and have a chat to us at the show, or email us any time on: chairman vwgolfmk1 .org.uk
