How many turn on a normal rack

Hi all 
Some one is selling a quick shift rack but doesnt know the brand 
Could someone do a lock to lock or know how many turns of  the steering wheel on a standard rack is. 
I wouldn't risk it if the price was crazy and no proof but for what he's asking it maybe worth a shot 

My haynes manual says its 3.5 turns lock to lock….

I am pretty sure only Quaife did a quick rack for the mk1, it is 2.9 turns lock to lock.
I have one and I like the sharper turn in.

A quick shift is also called a short shifter kit, different from a steering rack.

Does it not make the steering rather heavy…

I have noticed very little difference. I do run 195x40x16 tyres on 16x7.5 rims though!

I've herd there was another company that made them for a short period of time  but yes I think it's quaife only now
