Febi-Bilstein Blower Motor/Resistor Switch, 4 speed heater fan switch

Just found this out today but heads up for anyone looking to purchase a fan switch. I bought two Febi-Bilstein Blower Motor/Resistor Switch, 4 speed heater fan switch  P/N:321959511 and the switch is great but the control knob stems are not long enough to go through the panel to actually stay in the switch when pushed in nor are they able to turn the switch.

Photos attached of the problem. Stem needs to be 21 mm at least and the stem on new part is only 17.3mm. The finger bit is too big and the stem is too small. Just a heads up for anyone.
