Stainless manifold
Ramair direct filter
Weber 32/43dtml
New performance leads
New distributor etc
That's all I can think mate…
But to be fair the guy i use is a genius. People come from far and wide for his skills.. he does touring cars..full race spec porsches etc .he used to tune for dub sport. Dont know if anyone remembers the mk3 golf the w12 v6 in the front v6 in the back .it was dubsports flagship car.. he set that up and got it right for them. These were in when I got there … Hes a good guy to know

Was that a baby blue one ? I seem to remember something like that and the real trick was even power delivery from both engines and transmissions. Also seem to remember a really complicated bit clever wire based gear linkage that changed gear on both boxes at the same time.
I am trying to remember a max power article from about 1996 ish I think when I was a wee college scroat

Along with UFO the orange mk1 golf
there was such a greater wealth of people back then that created some unique VW's
In fact i probably have original PVW\The Golf/Vw magazines articles on them boxed up and tucked away safely in my loft
Cars have come a long way since then but the engineering is still to be admired
If he worked for Dubsport then he will know Ian Birch for sure

I'm not to far from there so I might keep him in mind when I eventually get my GTi back up and running. It will definitely need a good tune up.
