Post

Have you seen this?!! I messaged and asked if it was £68 as I thought it was a mistake, but it wasn't. Even says in the description that it needs fixing!!

So is a brown or blue one worth more?

A few years a go I was having a tidy up and sold a mint 9.75/10 (it still had the elasticated thingys intact) for £90 and thought I was ripping someone off…..

going to break and sell my GTI in bits for £36,000 instead of selling it one piece for £12,500

Haha, that's the ticket! Love the fact you still then need to pay £25 for postage!

Problem being if you need it someone has it
that is when the dilemma begins how much is
it worth to you, a lot of us probably have many
parts horded so buying rare parts is not a problem
new owners of new project cars come across the
issue of wow that is expensive but i need it i will
have to pay the asking price that is the way i see
it

Do not know a lot but willing to help if possible

I suspect there are a lot of incomplete project cars; and a lot of people with parts that aren't selling which would complete those cars, because they can't agree on a fair price to trade.

What happened to just letting people bid on eBay?????

bid on what you want does not mean
you get it with the final winning bid

Ebay is a total jungle of honest and
totally corrupt sellers but when needing
bits and pieces first port of call Ebay buy
it now price or best offer but someone
selling an item for £80 is not going to
accept £20

Ah good old mk1 tax. Still, I've tried to buy things on here from people breaking MK1s and been bowled over by similar dream land prices
