Non Sunroof Mk1 Golf GTi 1.8 - 99p start

I have just bought a Corrado, so now it's time for my mk1 to go.
As being a student I don't have enough money to keep two cars even though I'd like to.

Please read the description fully before asking questions, i have found people aren't paying attention. I want you to know exactly what you are buying.

A little about my car.
-I've owned it for over a year, it's my 2nd Mk1 GTi, and one of many I've owned in the VAG family.
-Taxed until Sept (I think, will have to check)
-Mot til Nov.
-The car is a 1983 Black Mk1 GTi 1.8 8v
-Non Sunroof model
-Green tinted glass,
-Green/black striped seats to match.
-The boot has been smoothed.
-Mileage is about 189,000 but I'll have to double check.
-The car will come with the standard GTi 9 spoke wheels on.

Items repaired/ fitted in the last year:

-Wheel Bearings
-Track Rod Ends
-NS Hub
-Poly Bushes
-Front upper and lower strut braces
-Eibach 25mm Anti roll bar
-Coilovers fitted last week (brand new)
-Inlet and Exhaust Gaskets replaced
-16v Throttle Body
-New Disks and Pads
-Supersprint 60mm 4 branch Manifold (stainless steel)
-Supersprint Full 60mm matching Exhaust system (both totalling ?760 with receipt to prove)
-Usual bits like oil, water, coolant, and belts etc.
-Welding has been sorted along the floor pan for the last MOT as the previous owner didn't do it.
-Fuel pump
-Drum brake compensator
-Lots of other work I have forgotten about, but just get on with it.

I have a brand new set of 4x NGK spark plugs, 1x CV boot kit and the rest of the bushes we haven't fitted yet to go with the car.

The honest part:

The engine isn't great at all, it runs and I was using as a daily until I found a corrado I couldn't say no to, so still works,
It smokes out the exhaust which increases as you get higher up the rev range, and is also noisey. Luckily, being a 8v GTi still, you can pick up engines from about ?20-50 for a normal gti one.
However it does still do long journeys fine, but doesn't use any water, even if it does stink of oil.
Now what's worse is oil leaked out of a top up container i had just behind the drivers seat on the black carpet, you can't see it but it smells when you open the door.
The passenger door mechanism doesn't work (I knew this when I bought the car a year ago, but never fixed it).
I have removed the handle so no one can move it to save it dropping and might not be able to get it back up, as i said, i haven't tried.
The heater switch gave up on us and needs replacing.
The price reflects overall condition and is no way a show car; it's just a used daily 1983 mk1, rust on the sills and general bits here and there.
The grille isn't metal; it's a red pinstripe vinyl sticker.
Both doors have rust spots coming through along the bottom of them, same as both sides of the sills.

There might be parts I have missed, so please contact me whenever you want with further questions.

Some Pics to help give you an idea.
Ignore all the wheel pics on it, they won't be coming with them, as I previously mentioned, they will be coming with 9 spoke 13"s.
Also the chrome rear strut brace will be taken out and is not included.
I have also bought a Parcel shelf for the rear to cover up the boot, and that is fitted but not shown in the pics.

Please email me for any other pics you might want. As im very busy at the moment and will be the fastest way i can respond to you.
Thanks

Trying out ATS Cups, (doesn?t have large duckbill or ATS's included)

The car will be ready to buy in about two days as i have a wedding to go to tomorrow, and i need to fit tyres to the 13s before someone can drive away.
Thank you
