MK1 VW golf GTI 16 valve 1981 project

Hi thanks for looking, Mk1 golf gti 1981 non sunroof project for sale, I bought the car last year with the intention of building my ultimate car but unfortunately due to being made redundant my baby has to go to make ends meet! Car- has had a full respray and is in overall good condition however there is a small run on the drivers side wing which will need atttending to, brand new fitted headlining, rear brakes have been rebuilt, brake system complete just needs bleeding, complete interior, seats are already fitted but front seats require new slider bushings as they are loose, dash and fittings are all complete however require fitting, brand new track rod ends which need fitting, 15" alloys tyres in good condition and alloys have minor curbing, Engine- is 1.8 16 valve engine taken from a mk2 golf which I believe has done 85k miles, complete with - new camchain (fitted), new rocker cover seals (fitted), new cambelt and tensioner ready to be fitted, full performance exhaust system including 16 valve conversion manifold, spare complete wiring loom, loads of other parts too many to list. I have the v5 for the car I have 97% of parts required to get car back on the road and in my opinion all that is needed is some nuts, bolts and your time! Obviously the car will need to be trailered away and an estate car or van required for all the parts! There is so much to write about this car that i have probably missed out some information so if there is anything ect you want to know or more pics please dont hesitate to get in contact. viewing is availble by appointment.

Has to go ASAP. Im on the isle of wight so you will need to get on a ferry to get here.
