Mk1 Clipper Cabriolet 1990 Glasgow

113,000 miles, 2 Door Convertible, White, Petrol, Manual, 1. 8l Heres my beloved MK1 Golf Cabriolet. Ive had this for about 3 years and am only (very reluctantly) selling as I need to move to London where I will not have space for it. Its in good condtion for its age. 11 months MOT, taxed till end of July. fairly new electric hood with hood cover, hood reproofed recently. Scala alloys, CD player, immobiliser, s/s exhaust, towbar (I had this fitted, only used for carrying mountain bikes, never towed anything). Timing belt changed at 111000 miles, new rear brake cylinders, new electrics, car has been cared for and all work needing done has been carried out. Too much to list here but most reciepts etc are available, just ask. Lots of MOT & service history available, cared for exclusively by VW specialists since ive owned it. Usual wear to drivers seat bolster and a few minor rust spots starting to show, nothing at all serious and could be touched up very easliy. Very reliable car, not used as a daily by me as i pretty much cycle everywhere so ive just used it for cruising around at the weekends really. Taken it up to the North of Scotland as well as way down into England and had very little in the way of problems doing so. Reasonably economical given its 1.8 carb engine and certainly not an oil burner. A little bit 'tappity' when starting the engine from cold like most of them but heats up quickly. Starts on the button every time.
