I have a 1.5 1982 y reg yellow golf mark 1 cabriolet for sale as a project. I have had the car for 5years and had to take him off the road last year as i cant afford to run two cars (very gutted). He has passed all MOT's so far with flying colours as the sills and underbody are so sound, a mechanic has looked and said that the brakes need doing and front light electrics as well as a new boot lid (i have another one to go with the car) the car (named Sunny) has been started and drivon on a private road over the winter months he has done 149,000 miles and is very reliable.
