what aerial to fit to my tintop????

your thoughts please:

should I go for a Bee sting style on the roof, or a chrome/metal wing mount one?

it's a silver campaign if that helps, I'm swinging between both!!

I want to put my 76 ball in it!!

I'd say wing aerial think the aerial toppers fit better on this type too.  Also you will still have the hole in the wing.

Someone fitted a ford roof aerial on the front of my roof  :banghead:

some tool put a bee sting on my roof, but at the front!! looked stupid so removed it quicksmart!

I di like the wing option….but do they get broken off etc? also are they more of a retro chrome bumper thing? would it work with a fairly standard campaign?

Cheers

If you don't want it to break off, fit an electric aerial - pretty much all stereos these days have a feed to tell it to go up and down as relevant, and its only marginally harder to fit than a normal one.

Personally, I went for the cheap option of one of those stick-to-the windscreen ones. I was able to neatly hide the wiring by removing the dashboard, routing the wires into the loom channels then fitting it again.

What did you do about the hole on the roof?

They would have come with the chrome wing aerial so it wouldn't look out of place.

I'd go for wing mounted, like James said it's what it would've originally come with. Don't get a chrome one though, get one with a black mast.

I've got a black electric one on mine, but if you go electric you can't have an aerial topper as it'll pop off when the mast retracts!
