VW Golf Cabrio Front Spring Colour Coding

Hi everybody.
Does anybody just happen to know the correct colour coding for the front suspension springs on a 1991 VW Golf Cabrio 1.8i with power steering?
I need to return the car to it's original ride height.I have new VW rear springs , but there are at least four part numbers for the front springs and the vw dealer is unable to confirm which colour coded springs to order!
Any help on this would be really appreciated!!
