Sunroof Rear Height Adjustment

recently i've been trying to get hold of the two small bolts/screws that go into the sunroof from the inside of the car.

There the ones that screw to the bushes which allows you to adjust the height of the rear of sunroof panel. I?ve tried normal small screws but as you wind the roof back and the bushes pivot down the screws become loose and the teeth on the bushes won?t stay put!

So I was assuming these screws would be different with some kind of collar on them? Any advice would be great!

Am i right??

Can't remember what they look like off the top of my head, I'll need to have a look later. From memory, where the leaf springs are, there should be two screws holding the rear bracket in place, onto the body of the sunroof. There should be another screw that goes thru an elongated hole in the rear lifter. This screw should be slackened so that the sunroof can be adjusted by hand then tightened again when the correct height is achieved. Hope that helps  :dontknow:

Yes thats the screw that i need. The one that goes through the elogated hole into the rear lifter.

Can't find them on ETKA!

And a normal screw fits but once the roof goes back it just becomes loose and the roof drops down a few teeth!!

Not sure you can buy them separate  :dontknow:

They appear to be part of the rear guide (item 1 below - Mk2 sunroof used for illustration only)
