any body know the colour that relates to code LA3B   it is a ruddy brown red on a mk1 83 3door………no sticker on the car to be definate but it looks like a caddy that i have in a very similar coulour with this code on the sticker in it……..its not indian red

It seems that there are two whites, Alpine and Artic, to choose from. Unless I am missing any others.

The paint codes on a 90 Series Cabriolet is located in the engine bay drivers side, infront of the strut tower on a yellow or orange sticker.

To the left of the red circle and behind the a/c hose.

My car has LK5U marked on it (Arctic Blue Metallic) but I am not sure the colour of the car matches the code?  Anyone know from looking at my car.

This car appears more blue than my car which is sliver?

Depends on the light…. under the right light my Aqua Blue Perl looks purple.. It was titled in Alabama as Purple..

When I rattle canned my door repair, the paint for the first 2 coats was purple, then changed to blue on the 3rd and 4th coat…

When in doubt you could take it to a Automotive paint shop and have the Color scanned in to the computer for a match.

It isn't unusual for a car going in for a re-spray to have it eye matched, and not a true match, as they are matching it for blend and not the true color.

You can see the closeness of the paints and most have a car pop when you click on the color.

I'm looking for the paint code for my early (March) 1975 German market golf LS which is a deep gold colour, I've been told it's a rare col ; Helios Gold… but can't find any record of that colour, and there are no metallic gold s listed below?
Anyone have any ideas?

Do you have the Build sticker as the paint code is on that but gee 40 year old dot matrix print…. Doubt that you could read it anyway's   my 81 had it in the Boot's wheel well.
