No mate  :(

The glove box is part of the dash , just the lid comes off.
Water on the fuze box is very common on older cars due to rot around the windscreen seal and scuttle panel or in the inner scuttle tray. You should be looking for leaks around these areas , look for rusty wet areas above the fuze box , under the dash , with a torch  :D

Hope this helps ………

hi

hi to take a dash out only takes you no more than 10min … there are two 8mm bolts on either side of the dash .open the doors and you see them {undo them} then all you need is postive screw driver to take the rest of the dash {simply work around the clock area } take of all cover around switches ie…. fog light …rear heater screen …… and hazard switch there is a postive screw there  another behind light switch cover and two behind heater controls  .. and two on just on top the clocks … and one tucked in were your radio is {take out your radio first} once you have done this you have five or six postive screws along the lower dash  …… then take out your clocks which should be held in by two postive screws either side of the clocks …once you have done that put your hand around the back of the clocks  and disconnect the speedo by pushing the the clips  apart from each… then disconnect the electrical conn/ on the lower right hand side of your clocks ….. once that is done then just simply pull your dash towards you it only held in around your windscreen by push in clips … then you can see were your leak is comeing from . get stuck give us a pm

Nice one Scouse. Thanks for sharing your knowledge on dash removal. My Cabby suffers from a broken mounting point on glove box 'cubby', where the lid secures. I could do a bodged repair but reckon the only way to do it properly is to replace the dash.

Is there anybody out there in the North East who has a spare black dash in good order at a decent price ?
