83 gti resto seats retrimmed

i tryed to make it much bigger but thats as big as it will go sorry guys for the large pic.

They are so much better all new springs and foam feels like a new seat

I paid ?350 for the fronts only this included all new leather and VAG cloth original 1974. leather head rests, new springs, new bolsters, swapped the mk2 seat tilt unit onto the mk1 seat frames, new seat tilt lever. not bad realy alot of work goes into these seats.

the cloth i used is 32 years old i got it off evilbay. but you can buy new cloth from mj and VW that is almost the same they use it on the new mk5 gti. if you go on VWs website and look at the options for the new gti it will show u a swatch sample. To have the same work done as i have but useing the new cloth it was about an extra ?200. thats VW for you expensive expensive

Very nice mate, Im jealous.  Trying to save up the money to have the car painted, once Im finished with the bodywork.
Once the car is done the seats will be next.
