Which plug leads help!

Had no 4 plug lead go down so i ordered a set off ebay(matt lewis)racing
They arrived and they dont fit my dizzy cap, they are too big. i emailed a picture or my leads and dizzy cap and he said it was a mk2 cap because it has 4mm pins
Can anybody shed any light on this please? :?

what engine do you have?
 it sounds like you have a mk2 cap and leads. possibly coil too.

Take your old ones off and get yourself down to vw. Got myself some quantum ones from them. They couldn't get any for the eg (1.6) engine but had some for an 84 mk2 that were identical…

Had to unscrew the little metal caps from the spark plugs to get them to fit but are nice and tight and snug now.

Got some mk2 leads and have now got it firing on all 4 and will rev up ok while stood but it wouldn't pull you out of bed i'm going to try a new dizzy cap next, thats my guess
