performance..

Hi guys,
I had a clipper last year, loved it but sold her to fund my camper, now looking at getting a car again and wanting a tintop gti. Found a 1.6 but what are they like performance wise? Wikepedia reckons they are 108 and 110 bhp for 1.6 and 1.8s, What is 0-60 like?? The other contender is a polo G40 as there seem some reasonably priced ones on pistonheads, these suposedly boast a 8.1 second 0-60, how does this compare to a golf?

I understand 0-60s a bit more than bhp, much simpler lol, im not a fan of polos but that seems pretty good, I had an mgf before my clipper which would do 60 in 8 seconds and miss having something that 'nippy'
