1991 Cabby GTi - DX - crankshaft oil seal - but which one?

I have a slight oil leak that looks like it's coming from the crankshaft area, and as I'm having a new clutch, makes sense to do it at the same time.  Obvs I need to order the right part before it goes in the garage, so I'm looking for a crankshaft oil seal which I think is  068103171F

There's such a difference in the full housing one that Heritage have (which has only 2 reviews that say it fails in 20 miles   ) to the simple ring type.

Which do I need, and has anyone had trouble with the Heritage one (pictured in the middle)?

I ended up just buying the seal, not the housing, and I think it was this one, looking at my eBay history:

However, it now seems to say it shouldn't fit my car, if you use the compatibility checker, which is weird. Sorry I can't be more helpful, it's a long time ago!
