K & N Filter

Just got my K & N filter can anybody tell me when I would need to re-oil it I do 8500 - 10000 mileage per year.
Any advice will be appreciated engine is a 1.8 carb

I do mine about one a year but don't do tat kind of mileage. One thing I would say is that I wouldn't oil it too much cos there's no real need and can do more harm than good.

is it a cone or panel? it doesnt matter i was just wondering, i have a panel and  do it once every 6 months, keeps it clean and it allows me to drive without the choke out for ages when cold!! hope this helps!!!
