4 branch manifold - what will fit?
will a 4 branch for a GTI fit?

Golf Mk2 8v 4-1 RHD Exhaust Manifold
Golf Mkl GTi 16/1800 4-1 Exhaust Manifold
or these on e-bay:

Mk1 manifolds will fit, but you'd need to adapt it to your exhaust system since the GTI one is wider. Or, buy a manifold and exhaust system from the same place, at the same time.

Settling In
I am looking to change the Pierburg to a Twin Choke Weber, or even thinking about a 4 carb motorbike set up, which i have seen on the internet, but I need to do a lot of research
Aiming to change the exhaust from block to tailpipe, and also can anyone tell me it the GTI Camshaft is any different from a standard 1800 Clipper one? And if it is, will it marry up with this engine/work?
Thanks Roy

spotted for bung.
I have also use the Pacesetter Header but has to heat the pipes up and bend them to clear the steering rack.
had to grind it a bit to fit it under the intake….
As well as the Raceland SS header with a expansion joint at the back end I installed it after my car reached 25 years and the Cat wasn't being tested as this is a Cat Delete model, and that may pose to be an issue on the later Cabbies and your MOT.
expansion
I did have to create heat shields on them to keep the heat off the power steering rack, but as yours are uk and mine aren't then there may be other issues as well each had to have an o2 bung welded to the down pipe on the
right low, and had to extend the o2 sensor wires…
