New daily driver

Sold the GTI a month ago and now have a hilux for daily use







Had to do a full service and replace the sump, done the timing belt too, bit different to drive than the golf but it does the job and I can get my bike in the back  

Not got any real plans, will tidy it up a bit, got some BF goodrich tyres to go on too, but need 4 matching wheels first

Its so handy for work but the main reason is I can get my trials bike in back, had mk1 and mk2 golfs for 8 years, so I wanted a change, still got the red 16v mk1, after driving the hilux the mk1 will be even more fun to drive  :wink:

and the B reg is off to Fife, the guy who bought it has another mk1, so it gone to sa good home  8)

Done some tidying on the hilux, got my new wheels and tyres on, lifted the front suspension and gave it a good clean and polish

Will think about the meet, still need to tax my golf, got a few jobs to do on it too!

So after 5 years of daily use and carrying all sorts of stuff about plus towing a trailer with golfs on it the hilux has some issues with rust, started removing some of the rust and I now have this
