1979 Toyota Cressida

So as well as my Golf, I also own a 1979 Toyota Cressida.  It's currently been off the road since summer 2011 as I always said I'd take it off the road when it failed an MOT (it only failed on about half hours worth of welding, but I decided it was as good a time as any to take it off and do the car properly).  Unfortunately nothing has happened since then as life got in the way (like it always does), but all being well, a new house with workshop and double garage next month means I may finally start stripping and rebuilding the Cressida at last!

Plans are to sort the welding, change the wheels, and custom build some coilovers to start with.  I may then MOT it and run it for a year or so, before stripping it back totally and giving it the love it deserves.

Anyway, here are some pics of it before coming off the road;










The exhaust is removable BTW, it's just a show thing relating to the Japanese Bosozuku movement.
