There are some small differences internally between 19mm and 20mm wristpins, but being perfectly honest, if your putting anymore than 240hp in a mk1 its pointless. Least for Front Wheel Drive.
Grab yourself a K03s turbo and a good exhaust system and your good for 200hp plus with a good remap. Don't buy an engine you don't know the history on.. :mrgreen:

I'd go AGU for ease if it was me.
The Mountings Needed to Fit it are no different from the AGU… you are essentially just fitting an engine that is longitudinal to transverse, however there are parts you would need to change on an AEB that you wouldn't need to on the AGU.
Sump, pick up pipe, intake manifold, and a few modications to allow the AEB exhaust manifold/turbo to fit.
