There is no way in the world that speedo is reading right…

It goes from 40mph to 100mph in 8 secs    
It also passes 100mph in fourth, sounding like it is hardly breaking a sweat…  :?

Get a SAT NAV in there and compare speeds.

lol there is no way the speedo is reading correct.

Cheers guys, the speedo is out, it's on 13's and I'm pretty sure the speedo switchgear in the gearbox isn't suited to the golf clocks. I have got satnav but it's so old that I can go from 0 - 40 - 0 and it clicks up 10mph. need to get an accurate one. with regards to the law, that car belongs to little jimmy down the road.
