Iv done a deal with the jetta for a mk1 shell that has never been welded and doesnt need any its also been blasted underneith and resealed and painted the top has been painted aswell the bay has had all the holes welded up for hidden loom and pedal box then painted but i dnt like the color so its getting changed, let me know wat ya think of the color

Looks really straight bud!! Got to say… I'm loving the pastel colours lately… green light blue… yellow…. brown…. they all look good on an old school motor… I like the colour mate and personally I'd keep it. We seen a blue like this at our recent Milton Keynes meet and it was lush. :dontknow:

i know wat you mean about the blue but iv got a thing for deep red i know it looks more brown but the top may endup a bit reder (if thats a word)

quick update, got the brake lines and new compensater in and the fuel lines, stoneguarded the tank then paint and laquered, referbed the tank straps and painted them body color i think they look sweet,, just waiting for the flaring tool to arive so i can finnish it off
hopfuly get it on its wheels this week so i can start preping the top

Looks ace bud, hope your well fella, i do mean to pop by as i pass weekly as i am a stalker lol.
That fuel line you got how you coping and have you tested it as yet, i replaced my lines approx 7 month back as i wanted perfect underneath and had issues with leaks with the same type of piping when i was fitting it.
I forgot the name of piping but i a crap load spare in my cupboard wondering what i can use it for lol.
Eventually i used traditional copper piping which was alot easy to bend and flex compared to the plastic typed piping etc

This used to mine many years ago.. I really had no idea it was so solid. till it was in the new owners hands. Its got a good home now and will get finished haha
PS.. you can have the old intercooler of my Caddy GTD for this if its any good to you?
