Would love to hear more about the build-up. How did you sort the fueling ? (ie, did you have to use a Gti tank / pump / accumulator & lines or did you use other bits ?). What about the wiring ? I've heard this is the real nightmare.

Its a right laugh sometimes no loud exhaust at moment so it doesnt sound anything special until you put your foot down.
Waiting to take it back to Emerald for final re-map after actuator and fuel lines sorted (was 180 brake)should then see 200-210brake.
Been running car since March and done bout 8k miles (wondered why me necks been achin) but no probs from engine and good drivability thats why i went for 20v.
All bodywork/interior near enough original want to keep it that way like vw say THE ORIGINAL UPDATED

I must say its the look I'm going for…..original but enhanced in the right areas………… as hidden as possible. 8)
Would love to see her will she be at gaydon?
I used to own a mk1 - well I've had 2 actually - YDU 720X & SMU 420Y. Currently I drive an 98 Scotia White Mitsubishi Evolution V RS…. fancy getting another mk1 someday
