Im only 27 and got a quote with Herts insurance recently for £177 with all mods… Social use, 5k anual milage on classic policy.. Cheap insurance is out there

Im fitting the plate in the normal place for mot as my led's still have not arrived from germany!!!

Oh and when my new S2 bumpers arrive ill try them on and then decide.

Very nice!  8) Looks sweet on the S1 bumpers and like the heckblende, but they always look naff once the rear number plate is fitted under the bumper.  :?

I'd paint the black line back in on the rear lights so it runs through to the lines on the heckblende.

Love it though, any pics of the bay?

I have another set of rears that are getting fully tinted in red hence why these ones have not been touched.

Also i dont think my one looks to odd?

It looks good on the white one but just looks cleaner with either just a rear number plate in original location or the heckblende and no number plate, when they all go on it looks a bit too busy. As long as you like it that's all that matters!

I tried one on my white tin top but didn't like the plate under the bumper, I've still got the heckblende in the attic, it's a GTI one.

I was looking along the same lines,i  got a set of hella posties and was going to try and remove the writing from the heckblende and carry the black strip from the rear lights across,but as GavB95 says it is a bit busy when the number plate fitted.Not a criticism i think your car looks great but with the wording removed and a carry on line going across the heckblende it would blend in a bit better. (no pun intended)

The fronts fine but the small bumper with series 2 lights always looks odd imo.
