Pic's of my Sportline!!

Hi all
   Haven't posted much on here as yet!!    So I will start with some pic's of my Golf Sportline!! I have had her for about 6yrs and don't think I will ever part with her, one day I will give her a full restoration. Since I have had her she has been lowered 30mm and had some new headlights and quite alot of new parts through the yrs to keep her tip top. I would love to take her off the road but has been my every day car since I have had her.

Looks stunning- really nice example. What is the cover over the petrol cap- is that a recent addition?

How do you find the ride with it being lowered? Mine was really hard, so I'm in the process of puting back to standard. It's a nightmare trying to get a hold of the correct springs though- no one knows the paint markings for a Sportline!

Thanks for the comments!   The petrol cap I think is standard, not sure what you mean about the cover. I found the ride ok considering they were cheap spring and shocks from Raceland, been on there for about 3yrs, no problems as yet!

Thanks for the comments!   The petrol cap I think is standard, not sure what you mean about the cover.

It seems that the hole for the key is covered by a black pastic flap- is that right? On mine the key hole is uncovered.

 I have seen a few Sportlines with the same cap, so I persume it is right one, don't quote me on it! lol

Come along to a meet again, we're in Stortford now so you've got no excuse!  Debbie's said she's seen you bombing around now and again.  My sporty's fine, just undergoing winter maintenance so not all in one piece at the mo.
