Yes very nice, just needs the rear wiper putting back to its rightful jaunty vertical position.

i resprayed it last year, no welding needed at all, 64000 miles on clock, the lady that had it from new used it to take her show dogs to and from shows   thers still some hairs in the hard 2 reach places,……… but was never a abused van.. i really dont want to mod it up, ill just put a 5 speed into it later on in the year :wink:

i new there was something funny about that rear wiper :roll:

Leave it original Pete, not many Vans around.
Mine was a Van once, but looks unique now being a Car :wink:

Will be good to have that 5 Speed box.

Class van, I used to drive around in a blue one just like that back in the day, not even sure if I had a licence at the time  :wink:

Welcome on board good to have another mk1 in Northern Ireland,
There may even be enough to get our own branch of the MK1 owners club going LOL
Have a MK1 Rivage and go to as many local car shows as i can,check out clubgti.ni  and club gti.net both meet at the last Sunday of each month 1 at Corrs Corner Hotel and the other at The Templeton all vw nuts.

Love the van could have used that a few years back, but wont say what for (diffrent dogs)
