my sportline........replaced
ive had this for about 2 years now and there has been alot of work carried out on it to get it to the way it is 2day
this is when i 1st got it(sitting next 2 my mk4 20vt)
after having some minor paintwork done(bottom of each door and front window frame) i then detailed it…ocd style
in2 the garage where i removed side trims grilles wipers and lights
i had my mate barry from autodents round to do his magic(pdr…paintless dent removal) which he is awesome at
while he done that i touched in and buffed all the stone chips and minor scratches
then the detailing began
then i rolled it out and built it back up and took some pics :photo: :photo:
i cut my front number plate plynth as i did not like the look of the plate screwed directly to the bumper
plastic welded and filled
sanded and fitted….ready for paint
then fitted centre console guages
another subtle wee mod was my rear view which i love…the boy done a great job of this
this was next
i then fitted this stereo set up
i then made a new parcel shelf and recovered boot cards
it fits perfect so im happy
also retrimmed the original side cards to match
i then got rid of all the orange on the car
i also replaced fuel cap, aerieal and lots of other things and eventualy took it out the garage looking like this
then
so by march this year it was looking like this
then the engine packed in so it got towed away 2 a company called G-Wagenz in alloa 4 a new lump
to occupy myself while the car was away i bought these, which were in need of a refurb
so
ok i could go on and on but im sure im boring u guys already and this is only my 2nd post haha
heres some recent pics
fresh bay
the list is endless(or feels it) with what has been changed, cleaned, painted powdercoated etc etc but heres the money shots
so thats it so far,ive missed loads of little time consuming jobs out of this but im sure ive bored u enough haha
hoping to get it on the road very soon, thanks for looking, feel free 2 comment good or er….otherwise haha
thanks,
stu
