My Santo's Green Series 1 Golf

Thought i'd post a few pics of my series one golf at its current standard
still plenty to be gettin on with, but as its a daily and im still in training and college, funds are low and progress is slow

unfortunately, there is quite a few speedbumps, i jus slow everyone dwn lol
there 13inch image splits mate, 8wide et22 on front
n 9wide et8 out back with 1.5degree
shims an rolled n pulled arches. Stil scrub tho

Nice car! Normally don't like the de badged grills but really suits the car.

yes peeps, its a series one and in an original colour. believe the colour was available from 1978ish - 1980ish if i remember correctly.
i had never seen one in this colour before, so that an the fact it was a series one was what brought me to sell my beloved mk2 gti and buy this lil baby.

i know what you mean with the grills dude, was a hit or miss decision, and when the exterior is finished it should tie in even better.

will be splitting and detailing the wheels over the winter, jus gota get some tyres for my Polished P-Slots for my winter rollers  8)

Reckon it'd look good on the P slots too. I definitely prefer my mk1 to my mk2 golf, but my mk2 jetta still holds a big place in my heart. Miss that car
