my mk1 N cleaning thread

well i read somewhere on the forum i got told that one of the best things to get your plastics black again is penut butter, i didnt believe it but after trying pretty much everything else on my bumpers i thought i would give it a go. so here some pics

then i applied the penut butter and employed a friend to help with removal


and the removal process




once it was all removed(the dog got full so i had to do some of the work) i cleaned the whole car and dried it


and here is the after shot


it worked really well to be honest, i was quite supprised.

here are some pics of the car nice and clean
i used megs gold class car shampoo with a wash mit
then megs stage 1 2 3
oh and the penut butter
all this added up to one shiney mk1 golf

I thought the peanut butter thing was a joke - I'm really surprised that it worked  8O

But fair play - that looks great…

oh definatly smooth, was the sunpat ''light'' wonder if the full fat version would work better.

Looking good matey, loving the helper shots, lol
