My 1991 Mk1 CABBY
Its a 1991 1.8 8v karmann gti first registered on the 7th of january 1991, ordered on the 22/12/1990 with a huge history file showing all services and work carried out throughout its life in the uk and ireland ,the paint is in good condition its had the boot lid replaced back in 2005 and 1 rear arch painted, on digging around it has pagid pads on the front, an upper strut brace and lower anti roll bar fitted , the rear shocks have also been uprated aswell, the interior was tidied a while ago aswell with the seats getting new foam and the plastic mat on the carpet being replaced, it has manual windows front and rear but the roof is electric, the fabric on the roof has shrunk but it can wait until next year to be replaced as its fully usable, there will be more to follow when i collect the car next week…
my plans for now are to service it, fit a stereo sort the brakes, different wheels, and enjoy it for the summer…..

Different wheels? There' beautiful I'll have them!
MK1 1.6 GLI Cabriolet
MK2 GTI 5 Door (WANTED)
MK3 1.9 TD Golf (90miles a day, 55mpg excellent car)
MK4 1.9 SDI 3dr no longer with us!(crashed into a tree)
MK5 Looks like a Golf, Sounds like a Golf but corners like a van.
