My 1983 Mars Red Mk1 Golf

Car when i bought her

Not amazing pics, will get some better ones up asap!





She has roughly 150k on the clock, not bad for 23 years

Bodywork is in good condition, few bubbles of rust that need attending to but nothing more than surface at the moment

She runs well but is sometimes a bit hesitant, gonna look at the Leads and Distributor and Oil change asap

Wheels - BMW E30 BBS Wheels 14"

Body - Gti Arches, Chrome Filler Cap

Engine - 1.3 8v Driver

Interior - Speckled Grey Seats, Gti Gearknob

Managed to pick up a full Gti interior in good condition for just ?50!

We even reattached the original Black Parcel shelf as it should be

Debadged Grille

Have one of these making its way from Germany as we speak, prefer Mk1s with Single headlights

Also..

Purchased a Brand New Battery and Tyre yesterday, starts alot better now

Also picked up some oil and Filter for the Oil Change and a few other bits and bobs

Looks tidy. Also looks familiar too. eBay buy ??

They are good for winter

Im thinking of putting my OZ Turbos on there for the summer shows

They're not that bad, short term.

After all it could be worse……..they could be the dreaded 3-spokes

I thought it looked good with those beemer wheels when I saw it on ebay, but you have get some pics of it up with the OZ turbos PLEASE!! :mrgreen: One of my favorite wheels, they are 8)  :wink:

Updates for the Golf***

New GSF Top Mounts fitted all round, car drives 10x better and no clonking noises!

New Oil Cap as previous was leaking oil

Gti Chin Spoiler ready to go on the car

if the wheels are for sale, stick them on the Mk1 and get some pictures up before they go?    :wink:
