also i need help with some of the trimings for the doors and the windows i want to paint the car an i want to replace them with new ones where can i find them

have you decided on a colour yet? quite like the yellow

also it looks like the grooves where the side trims (swage lines) sit has been filled in, make sure you get rid of it before painting!

i dont like bright colors so no for the yellow but i was thiking like gray or black or white or red maye that nice light green that one golf has the russian one i love that color and as for the trims i have a local body shop whos going to do all the body and paint for me

heres some quick updates tints got removed dint quite like them




and i picked up a carpet off of an old cabrio that was at my local junk yard and a few other parts

so we got to tearing things apart

so i started putting it all in

and this is my special helper the one who like u all know if u have a gf is always on ur ass about u spending to much time with ur vw and not enough with her but to be honest i have two loves in my life her and my car!

Have you driven it yet? I've got the same setup in my '77, 1.5D with a four speed, actually goes pretty well and the mpg is fantastic.

Kernewek: i dont have it as my daily driver yet because of the fact that i havent transfered title over to my name but i always drive it anytime i do somethin to it engine pics soon engine will get complete over haul in about a week..
