Put the mk2 steelies on it so the P-Slots can be re-furbed:
Loaded her up with all the body panels, still couldn't get the tailgate off ha ha:
Then went over the car to see if there was anything else to strip, thought I'd check the sunroof drain holes while I was at it!! Unfortunately the passenger's side is fooked:
Please post in the following thread if you can help me out with a fix:

He's had to sack two of his employees for stealing I am led to believe so he's a bit behind. I've offered to help prep the car in return for a reduced price. So I'll be popping down on my next set of 4 days off to learn some tricks of the trade. Really looking forward o it actually!!

Mate - where are you getting the P slots refurbished? I'd like to get mine done - but the black part inside the wheel is apparently very difficult to do? Would be interested to see what your look like afterwards. Good luck with it - gonna try and get mine down when funds permit!!
The wheel refurb has fell through, the guy was only going to clean up just the faces. Going to leave them for now, I'll probably run the mk2 steelies for a while anyway to use up the good tyres on them.
Went down to the bodyshop on Friday to give a hand with some prep work.
He had found a load of rust earlier in the week and asked if I want the full works or just a cheap repair. Opted for the full works as I may as well get it done for future peace of mind. He spent a day and a half adding extra welding. The car is completely rot free now!!
So I spent Friday afternoon grinding the weld lines. Here's a few updated pics:
Going back down tomorrow to help clean up the bonnet, wings etc.
I'd imagine the primer will be put on towards the end of this week!! Finally!

As you can see it's obviously had a bit of repair work done in the past due to the filler you can see, the guy said he'll go over my work (I'm not exactly a pro!!) and finish grinding most of it back to bare metal.
Going down on Monday/Tuesday to help prep all the panels
