mk1 golf rivage

I did own the red clipper, sold this to my friend so I could buy the blue rivage. I had a petrol smell and took it off the road to investigate, ended up removing and re-bushing the beam, painting it up, removing the tank and cleaning it up, flushed it out, repainted the almost new filler neck, replacing, the hoses, etc, replacing all the brake lines and flexi's, re-building the front brakes, suspension struts replaced, painted up the back plates, strut bodies, front wheel bearings replaced, anti roll bar bushes, top strut mounts, then a few bits in the engine bay including radiator, metal coolant pipe, all small flexi hoses on injection system and distributor. sounds like a lot but didn't take too long!!!
Still more to do including a seat rebuild and replacement roof asap
I will find a better pic to post up
